Web-based Interactive Learning

While working as the LRC coordinator at Payap University, Toby developed a web-based system for independent language study. This consisted of activities with recorded conversations, interviews and short movies. Each activity had a set of questions and answers so that the learner could assess their understanding.
All these activities were hosted on the Language Resource Centers own intranet webserver.

E-Learning Content Management System

In addition to the web-based language activities, Toby administered an e-learning content management system (Moodle) and assisted the language instructors (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, English) in the International undergraduate program to create self-access modules for their courses.

Multi-media Distance Learning

Toby has been commissioned to produce distance learning courses. The most recent was designed to be delivered via CD-ROM and uses Flash and Screenweaver to create executable lesson files. The use of the CD and associated pdf documents allows for videos, demonstrations, lectures and verbal instructions to be given to the students along with traditional text based information.
